Together we will explore the ancient tales and the powers of Nature.

The retreat will have two parts:
BUTIBA FESTIVAL
LIVELY, JOYFUL, HEALING, SELF-INQUIRY FESTIVAL HAPPENING DURING FOUR DAYS OF SUMMER SOLSTICE
(1) We will spend 4 days in Spiritual Festival "Būtība" - The festival includes the celebration of Summer Solstice and different ancient rituals during the shortest night of the year.
This is a call from the depths of our hearts to reunite with the Soul of Mother Earth.

(2) Our intimate retreat will be dedicated to the Elements.
THROUGH FIRE/WATER/WIND/EARTH we will connect to the Divine and Liberate our MIND/BODY/SOUL
In the viladge of Skuķīši, one hour from Riga, next to the beautiful little river and sacred Oak tree -
we will arrive into the sauna and guest house “Upes Rūķi” - for 5 days of summer transformation.
Through deep cleansing sauna's, getting to know the local plants and medicines,
we will connect to our body and rejuvenate it.
Together with art and music workshops, meditation sessions in the inspiring nature,
we will connect to our deepest core to release the old and invite new and peaceful energies into our life's.

We will be traveling to the sacred sights of Vidzeme to gain perspective.

On the last day, we will rest, integrate, and open to our deepest heart’s desire.

The Places we will live
We will live in two places. First four days we will stay in the Festival . The next six days we will stay in remote guest house 20 km from Riga.
(1) Festival "Būtība" takes place in one of the most beautiful areas of Latvian nature – near Kegums,
located in a country side setting surrounded by the magical Latvian woods on the banks of the largest Latvia river, Daugava. Guest of the Festival are living in the tents.
(2) Guest house "Upes rūķi" ("Gnomes of the River") is located in a little viladge Skuķīši, in Vidzemes region . We will live in woden house, prepared for sauna rituals and spiritual practices. We will be next to a little river, deep pain tree forest and the path of sacred Oak tree. The guardian and our friend of the Oak tree sight Miervaldis is our host and local pagan shaman.
Our home
We will live in two places:

located in a country side setting surrounded by the magical Latvian woods on the banks of the largest Latvia river, Daugava. Guest of the Festival are sleeping in private tents / Glamping tents are available with additional cost.
(2) Guest house "Upes rūķi" ("Gnomes of the River") is located in a little viladge Skuķīši, in Vidzemes region . We will live in woden house, prepared for sauna rituals and spiritual practices. We will be next to a little river, deep pine tree forest and the path of sacred Oak tree.
Our team
We call ourselves mystics, because we are searching for the direct connection with the divine. We look within and find that the true nature of the Universes is Love.
Miervaldis Kalans // Our Host
A sauna master teacher, pagan shaman, working with natural remedies and energy fields.
Miervaldis is Latvian Sauna Association council member, and giving training seminars for professionals and beginners.
He is creator of the sauna training program “Fire School”.
When Miervaldis is working with the clients he works with the human biofield - testing, finding blocks and transforming.
He is also a local pagan shaman, feeling the whispers of the local plants, knowing the wisdom of Amanita.
Through the years, next to his house, he created a path to the Sacred Oak trees. He cleaned and energized the place and now, gathering spiritual seekers from far.
